How do I book?
MEDIUM/LARGE CATERED EVENTS
For events with a large number of guests (50+) please look through our Events Menu then complete this form. Please give at least 1 months notice to ensure availability. Waiters can be provided on request.
PRIVATE DINING
To enjoy our private dining experience from the comfort of your home please look through our Private Dining Menu then complete this form. If less than 2 weeks notice is given when booking, there is a 20% surcharge. Waiters can also be provided on request.
Allergens?
When ordering food please provide any allergy and/or dietary requirements.
Please be aware that our food is prepared in kitchens that contain gluten, nuts and other allergens and, as such, we cannot completely guarantee that there is no risk of cross-contamination.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any specific dietary requirements so we can best accommodate you and your guests.
How does Private Dining work?
Service - Afrinapé will provide either a 3 course meal for guests. Depending on the package chosen, we will provide 3 courses, table decor and drinks. Client must provide their own drinks/glasses and music unless otherwise agreed.
Menu - Choose from our set menu’s here. Afrinapé reserves the right to make small changes to the menu if key ingredients are unable to be sourced due to reasons beyond the control of the Parties. Client will be informed prior to the event if any changes are made.
Kitchen - Please ensure that your kitchen space is clean. We will leave your kitchen the way we found it. In order to provide the full Afrinapé private dining experience we expect the cooking appliances to be in full working condition (hob, oven, microwave)
Terms & Conditions - If less than 2 weeks notice is given when booking, there is a 20% surcharge. A 50% deposit is required to secure the date and the remainder to be paid 14 days before the event date. If the booking is made less than 2 weeks in advance full payment must be made. Cost per head does not include travel costs.
Do you cater for customers that eat Halal goods?
All of our meat products are Halal except for the meat used in our pies or any specific haram meat products
Do you accept returns on goods?
We do not accept returned goods. If for any reason there is an issue with any of our products or food, please contact us directly via email or call us so we can resolve them
How long will it take to receive products ordered from the products section?
RECIPE BOOK
If you order one of our recipe books before 12pm UK time on a working day, your book will be posted on the same day and you should receive it within 3 working days (in the UK). If after 12pm, it will be posted on the next working day
CONDIMENTS
Please allow a 5 day lead time to freshly prepare your Sauce before posting it to you. In total it could take up to 7 working days for you to indulge in your favourite Afrinapé condiments
Afrinapé terms?
Menu to be served
Parties agree to the menu being served at minimum 14 days prior to the event or where possible. Afrinapé reserves the right to make small changes to the menu if key ingredients are unable to be sourced due to reasons beyond the control of the Parties. Client will be informed prior to the event if any changes are made. Hot food is only guaranteed if we are granted access to a commercial kitchen onsite.
Coordination with venue
We will need to have access to the Venue no later than 1.5 hours in advance of the Start Time of the Event, and 1 hour after the End Time for clean up if required/necessary. Client will make all necessary arrangements, at Client’s expense, to get this access arranged.
Payment terms
In exchange for our services the Client will pay a non-refundable 50% deposit as an upfront fee and the balance will be due 14 days in advance of the event. Payment indicates agreement to Afrinapé Terms & Conditions
Responsibilities for related costs
Client is solely responsible for all costs and/or deposits relating to use of the Venue, and for obtaining any necessary permissions, authorisations, or other requirement of Caterer providing services at the Venue
Insurance and indemnification
Afrinapé has public liability insurance relating to Caterer’s services at the Event. However, Client will indemnify Caterer for any damage, theft, or loss of Caterer’s property occurring at the event, causes by any of Client’s guests
Cancellation
If the Client needs to cancel the event, Client must provide written notice to us. Client understands that upon entering into this Contract, Afrinapé is committing time and resources to this Event and thus cancellation would result in lost income and lost business opportunities in an amount hard to precisely calculate. If the unfortunate should happen and you need to cancel your function, the following guidelines apply:
If written notification of cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to the function date, Afrinapé will refund your deposit in full.
If written notification of cancellation is received less than 20 days prior to the function date, Afrinapé will not refund payment.
Legal compliance
Afrinapé will work in compliance with all applicable local health department rules and regulations relating to food preparation and food service
Resolution of disputes
Please provide any feedback to us directly as soon as possible giving us an opportunity to resolve any issues amicably
Jurisdiction
This will be interpreted according to UK law and any legal action must be filed within this jurisdiction
